Here are my latest pair of what I will call Glittens. 😉 They are nice and long but can be folded to made shorter, and you can have the mitten style or the fingerless mittens. Crocheted in #4 denim colored yarn with sparkle dark blue embellishments, and little round gold buttons to fasten the mitt to if you want fingerless. The pattern uses HBhdc (Herring Bone half double crochet) stitch and single crochet.
Just in time for winter! This awesome little cocoon made with the crocodile stitch was so much fun and very easy to crochet. The beanie is just a basic stitch to newborn measurements. It should wrap the new little precious baby girl, born to one of our church families, in much warmth.
This little set for a gift to a dear friend turned out very nice! And just in time for all this snowy weather we are finally getting. Fingerless scale stitch glove with a cuff that can be folded or stretched out for length. Crocheted flower button fastens this pretty cowl to warm your neck.
This is a good start to the Winter Hats for Sailors for Christmas this year through our church!
Yes, I finally also finished the teal skirt to go with the cardigan. Here is the entire project.
I apologize that the photo is not better. The skirt is hanging a little crooked on the hanger, but it really is not crooked. LOL
I get so much satisfaction when my customers are so pleased with their order. The chocolate sweater vest was a perfect fit and she just loves that is so soft and cozy!
She let me use her as my model to get a pic that really does the vest justice. Thank you my friend.
Okay, I know I promised a video to show you how to crochet the crocodile stitch. And, I am very close now. I have the equipment and am figuring it out. So, yes, soon and very soon.
In the meantime, I had an order to fulfill for a Ladies Sweater Vest in Chocolate, size Medium. It is finished, laundered and ready to be delivered. I am posting a pic here that will not do it justice. I am hoping she will let me use her as a model for a pic when she tries it on.
I LOVE WHAT I DO!
Wonderful grape and sparkle grapette colors winter wear for ladies. Size is small to medium with some stretch. Made with I Love This Yarn, my favorite yarn by the way. Reasonably priced, but great quality.
